Too Close To Home

Wow I can't believe what happened this morning in my neck of the woods. It seems a 17 year old boy went looking for his ex-girlfriend at her school. Someone at the school turned him away. The 17 year old then calls his ex and asks her where she was. She tells him that she is home and he asks her if he could talk to her for a bit. The 17 year old ex-girlfriend has her mother drive her to the school parking lot so she can talk with him. The mother senses something is up doesn't drive away but moves her car away from the two. All of a sudden the 17 year old boy pulls a gun and shoots the girl 4 times. She is hit once in the arm and 3 times in her chest. Then he turns the gun on himself and shoots himself in the head. The mother seeing this drives her car between the two teens. The boy is pronounced dead at the scene and the girl is now listed in serious but stable condition.
Now let me tell you, this is just too close to my neck of the woods. Both my two daughters are graduates of that school. My stepson and his girlfriend live about a block in front of the high school. This is not in some urban jungle. This is an affluent high school. This school is not infested with rival gangs from the hood. It is a high school of mostly middle to upper class students. This is a school where every parent would feel safe sending their child to learn and get a very good education. I feel for the parents of both children, what they must be feeling right now. The mother without knowing the condition of the shooter to put herself in the line of potential danger, all to protect her daughter. The police say that her car ended up over the gun involved. The school went into lock-down-mode until things could be straightened out. The body of the boy laid near the car for hours. No other students were endanger.
What we are now hearing from our local T.V. and radio station is that the boy had another ex-girlfriend previous to this one that he threatened numerous times. He repeatedly told her that if she was to leave him he would kill her. Looking back, was this an idle threat? Yes, she is still alive. What kept him from acting out his threats on her. We will never know.
What is going through the minds of these teenagers now a days? Doesn't life mean anything to them anymore. Why is it that you need to kill because things are not going the way you feel they should? How can we help our youth of today, our leaders of tomorrow? What about the next generation of children? Will they be even more troubled? What is it going to take?

When Will It End?

Today I heard on the radio about a 14 month old baby boy gunned down while in his car seat. He was in the back of a car driven by his mother. His twin sister was not in the vehicle at the time. She will live the rest of her life with a big void in it. A big hurt for her brother that she should have been best friends with. The police say only one bullet pierced through the car and hit the little boy. The bullet hit the little one in the head.
What had this little boy done to deserve such an awful fate? They say it was a vendetta against the mother's associates. Boy I bet the shooter feels really proud that they shot that big bad little baby. They haven't caught the person that pulled the trigger so we don't know if it is a man or a woman. All I can say is that they are a coward!!! I not very bright coward. I say this because the get-away-vehicle was a tan H3 Hummer. Like there is a lot of them out there. You can probably count them on your hand in my area.
The police think they found the vehicle and have questioned a suspect but have not made an arrest. I hope the person resists and some one will have to put them down!

In other news around my neck of the woods we have another really smart guy. He killed his wife by strangling her. He used his parents tool-and-die shop to cut her up. He reports her missing after a week goes by. He then cries to the reporters about her missing.
Some one finds a zip-lock bag with latex gloves, metal shavings and human blood in it in a woods by the their house. Other body parts turn up in a nearby park. So this really smart guy goes back out into the woods and retrieves his wife's torso and brings it back to his house and puts it in his garage. He thinks that the police amy find it out there. The police say that while he is killing his wife they're two children ages 6 and 4 are asleep in the house. Fearing he is going to get caught he borrows a neighbors truck and hightails it up north to Wilderness State Park. Police traced calls from his cell phone to the park and went after him. So the not so smart guy takes off on the run in only a t-shirt, socks, and pants in 14 degree weather (that is -10 degree Celsius). He is on the run for ten hours and police find him under a fallen tree. They probably could of saved the tax payers a lot of money and just left him there and watched him die of exposure. Which the doctors said may not of taken very long with those conditions.

How can we as humans be so evil?Opening fire on a car because you think that they may have some one in it that you don't like. They don't even stop to think any more. To kill your wife who you promised to love and cherish. Why, because she went away on business trips. Here in Michigan and the rest of the world I think there has to be something done and done quick to end these brutal slayings. Gun control is not the answer. The bad people will still get guns. We as humans have to start to change. To raise our children to respect others. To respect life. We have given in to the idea that they are free spirts and need to grow without intervention. Is it the lack of discipline, the lack of compassion, the lack of an adult figure in their lives? I don't know the answers I wish I did. It is just so easy now to just kill some one because they either looked at you wrong or said something you didn't like or just being in the wrong place at the wrong time. I didn't start this blog to get on a soap box like my loving wife tells me I do sometimes, I started it to just write about things. I would like to write about things that are fun and enjoyable. Maybe one day I will.

Update: This IS Going Too Far

Well it seems we do have a few intelligent people left in the world. The Circuit Court Judge in charge of the case ruled even though Michigan law doesn't explicitly define sex with a dead animal as a crime, but he does say that the sodomy law is to actually protect society and to prevent people from acting like animals themselves. This now has been upheld by two courts the District and now Circuit. It seems that they should just get on with the trial. The Judge also upheld the indecent exposure charge. The Judge wrote that it was irrelevant whether the patch of woods was public or private, there was a substantial risk someone would see him. Ya think!!!
Oh and by the way the guy was also ordered to undergo a second psychiatry exam.

This Is Going Too Far!

Ok I give up. Now I have heard everything! For you squeamish readers you may not want to read any further.

Well in my neck of the woods we have this so called human being that got himself arrested for having sex with a dead dog! He was charged with sodomy and indecent exposure, and being a sexual delinquent person, along with resisting and obstructing. He faces up to life in prision. YES! I wrote dead dog.
It seems that he was a bit out of it when confronted in the woods behind a school. YES I said behind a school. What in the hell is this world coming too?? This happened back in October of 2006 and is now going to court. Oh readers you haven't heard the best of it yet. It seems that his court-appointed attorney is arguing that the charges should be dropped. YES I said dropped. Why you ask?? Well I'll tell you why.
She states that the police should have not arrested him on having sex with the dead dog or indecent exposure. Her argument is that the dog was dead, and once dead you no longer have what is known as an animal. The dog is dead so it is inanimate, it's not with spirit or soul. She says that therefore it is not criminal to perform a sex act with it. It would be like having sex with a plastic doll. Well all know it is not a criminal offense to have sex with a plastic doll or for that matter even for rubbing yourself with a bone. She goes on to say that plastic is made of fossil fuels, which is decomposed animal matter. So then everyone would be subject to arrest for having sex with the doll. She says yes heinous, but not a crime!
On the indecent exposure charge she contends that the man had no intentions to be seen so he shouldn't be charged with indecent exposure, he had an expectation or privacy. Yea right!!!
So I guess in her eyes we should just let this thing go! Let him back out on the streets. Oh and by the way he has a girlfriend. It was her dog!!!

WTF

Ok now I have heard everything!! This morning I watched Dateline NBC that I recorded earlier. You know the ones titled "To catch a Predator". Well they were in Murphy, Texas doing their thing. I am so glad that they are showing all of this so the perverts can see they will be caught!!! Well lo and behold they get a 59 year old Prosecuting Attorney to start chatting and sending pictures to what he believes to be a 13 year old boy. He doesn't take the full bait and go to the house, but in Texas just sending the perverted pictures to a minor is a felony. The police get a warrant and go to his house to arrest him. He takes the chickens way out and kills himself to save the citizens of Murphy (the tax payers) money on a trial. In his house the police find three computers that they were unable to see what was on the drives because they were locked in such a way that they had to be sent to a special company to find out the contents. They think that what is on those computers could be worse than what they went there to arrest him for in the first place, but they really don't know.
We find out later that his sister goes to the town council and complains to them that they should not have allowed all of this to happen! That they have acted reckless and that her brother is a victim! She also blames Dateline NBC for this. He never came to the house. He didn't even know Dateline was involved. Can you believe this sh*t??? All right I do feel sad for her loss and I do grieve for the family but wtf this so called man was trying to have sex with a young boy! His sister is upset that they caught him. She says that Dateline is responsible for his death. I think that the responsibility lies with his own actions! How can one blame anyone but the brother who committed suicide. The show before this one also had a few towns people go to the town council and complain. They said they didn't want perverts gathering in their town. Well guess what people they are there, and they are all around us. They just look like you and me. They don't have big letters on their foreheads that tell you what they are. You wouldn't know one if he or she came up to you on the street. They could be any age or sex. Yes! I did say any sex. You just don't hear of many females as perverts but they are out there.
I for one am glad that Dateline NBC is out there along with the company called Perverted Justice catching these so called people. I wish they would come to my neck of the woods. I would be glad to let them use my house anytime they want to. Wouldn't any parent???
Well I'll get off my so called soapbox as my wife calls it that I am on now and go back to my regular posts. I will leave the Rants label open for more because I do get on my soap box once in a while.
